Two days before they were implemented, a Northern California court blocked the implementation of the new fees from the Office of Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) that were to take effect on Friday.

Citizenship by naturalization (N.400) would increase from $ 640 to $ 1,170 (an increase of 81%), while the suspension of deportation (I-881) would register an increase from $ 285 to $ 1,525 (535%). And the asylum form, which was free, would cost $ 50. For now everything remains as it is.
